Chinese School Andover

In celebrating Chinese Moon Festival of 2015 (officially on September 26, 2015), language classes will talk about the Mid-Autumn Moon Cake tradition in the coming Sunday class. In addition, the school will distribute a small piece of Chinese Moon Cake for each student.

Parents, please inform your classroom teacher if your child/children should not take anything contains bean, peanut oil, or egg. Thank you!

As we prepare for the 2nd school day, the 20th, we would like to remind and clarify a few items about classes offered and school activities
1. With strong interest and starting from this coming Sunday, we are offering
a). Tai Chi Club from 1:35 PM to 2:30 PM, and coached by experienced TaiChi practitioner Huang Daijie;
b).Chinese Folk Dance class from 2:30 PM to 3:20 PM and taught by veteran dance teacher Lily Wang.

We had a great 1st day of school. Thank you all!

By now, we hope students have had a 1st impression on how this Sunday school is going to experience and the expectations. Families have clear information on ways to communicate and interact with your teachers and the school (also have the CSA school contact information sheet).

While we expect changes of classes , programs among students, and room teachers (based on sign ups) in the coming week, we will finalize size of each class/program before the 3rd school day.

Want to remind a few arrangements for tomorrow, the 1st day of our 2015 school year:
1. CSA AMC classes will have an evaluation session starting from noon. Please come to the school by 12:00 PM if you plan or already signed-up either level of the class.

2. Classes that offer 10 sessions such as "Presentation and Communication", "????“, will not start tomorrow but hold info and Q/A sessions in cafeteria.

To meet the needs of CSA families and starting from Fall'15, we extend "Ma Liping Chinese" to Grade 6, 7, and 8. In addition, we are also re-offering "AP Chinese".

国学体验夏令营现有9个剩余名额 - 北京 - 7月19-8月1日

Dear All,

The CSA Summer Program starts on 7/6 and goes until 7/31. In addition to the planned activities such as field trips, Kung Fu, learning Chinese, Math, Talent Show, English Reading, Handcraft, etc., we are glad to let you know that two more activity sections are added to the program:

a). Every day, there will be Chinese drama class in the afternoon, and every student will play a role. A performance will take place every Friday at 4pm, and we encourage friends and family to come watch.
