Dear All,

Tai Chi Chuan improves your blood circulation, promotes mental concentration, reduces muscle stiffness caused by daily stress and leaves you with peace of mind. Starting from 2014 fall semester, CSA will be offering the following class options to parents, teachers and the community at large:

Instructor: Sharon Pei

Sharon is an experienced and dedicated Tai Chi instructor. She is Tai Chi practitioner and has been teaching Tai Chi for local communities since 2004. Additionally, she also has many years of teaching experience in Chinese Language and Information Literacy in both local Chinese Heritage schools and Phillips Academy.

To learn more about her and her past Tai chi teaching experience, please visit http://www.taichi-universe.com/Home/tai-chi-class-2.

Here are the class schedule Sharon design for our school parents:

课时?2-3pm

a) Tai Chi Chuan Introduction: 10-Form (a.k.a. 8-Form)?十式太极拳 (Note: This class will be especially a good fit for those who never learned Tai Chi before, and prefer to start something simple and easy to remember. By the end of the semester, the individuals are very likely to do this set very well.) Or,

b) Tai Chi Chuan 24-Form: 杨式太极拳 24 式 (Note: Fall Semester: Form 1-12; Spring Semester: Form 13-24; This class will be a good fit for those who are willing to take the challenge to follow the sequence of 24 movements from the fall semester to the spring.)

课时?3:15-4:15pm

Tai Chi Chuan Introduction: 10-Form (a.k.a. 8-Form) 十式太极拳 (Note: This class is especially offered to those teachers or admin who couldn’t make to the 2-3pm classes, yet would like to have an opportunity to learn Tai chi’s basic elements.)

Preferred class size: 6 students.

What to wear? Wear loose fitting clothes and soft soled shoes.

The final decision on the class content, either 10-form or 24-form, will be decided after the registration. The instructor will go with the majority rule.

Thank you for your interest in learning Tai chi, this alternative wellness program, for your personal well-being and a balanced life.
