Dear CSA Families and Friends,

Hope everyone has had a fun and relaxed summer break! of course not at the cost of our students' Chinese language skills :-).

As we are approaching Sunday, the 7th, our 1st day of new school year, we would like to remind all a few things for the school opening day:

1. Class hours:
Starting from this semester, we move up the start time to 1:30 PM.
Chinese language classes: 1:30 PM - 3:05 PM
Cultural Classes: Each culture class session lasts 50 minutes
3:10 PM - 4:00 PM 1st session
4:05 PM - 4:55 PM 2nd session

2. Textbooks (if applicable) will be distributed to those registered at the end of 2nd block of the language class.

3. All Parents are required to attend the first class with your child on the first day. Teacher will review teaching plan and get to know all parents. Also it is time to arrange the election of Class Parents Representatives. On top of the classroom support, Classroom Parents Representatives, will be asked as a core decision making group for school-wide activities. Your room teacher will provide more details in the 1st block of the Chinese language class.

5. Registration: on-site registration is available on the 9th. Registration form is available at http://csandover.com/files/CSA202014%20Fall%20Registration%20Form.pdf

Please note that
a. All students must register before attending a class.
b. Please refer http://csandover.com/node/83 for detailed info about CSA tuition, fee, withdraw and refund policies.
c. In order to receive timely school information, Please provide CSA your correct email address and telephone number.
d. All class exchanges must go through registration.

6. CSA Rules and Policies: Parents, please go-over with their children on school regulations and policies. All CSA rules and policies are available online at http://csandover.com/node/16

7. Safety Requirements:
a). Parents of Pre-K, K, & First Graders should stay with their children before and after classes (including when on the playground)
b). All children who are not attending CSA classes should only stay in the cafeteria area with parents'/guardian's supervision
c). Please do respect the ONE-WAY driving direction to enter and exit the Pike school
d). There is absolutely NO parking along the fire-lane in front of the building.
Individuals are responsible for any lose resulted from violation of the safety requirements.

8. Emergency Situation Guideline: In case of emergency, please follow the instructions of teachers, on-duty parents, and on-duty admin members.

9. Help needed on 1st day:
a). textbook distributions
b). watching kids safety on the premises
