Dear CSA Friends and Families,
While it was a heavy raining night, it certainly did not stop more than 1100 attendees for the very 1st Andover Asian Culture and Arts Nights on the 6th.
Thanks to the beautiful performances from Bright Pearl Dance, the fun and sometime 'serious' performances of CSA kids, and the professional directing from Joanna Zhou, we hope everyone had a wonderful evening and thoroughly enjoyed the terrific show.
And, like all CSA participated events, it is impossible without the extra time and effort from many volunteers in our community.
Giving the very limited time we have had for the putting up the event, we'd like first to thank our teachers, who, on top of their regular curriculum, have enthusiastically helped and engaged CSA kids' practice and participation in the past months. Thank you!
The step out of Lili Xu, Will and Helen Yang, and Alex Gamble for the cute fashion show, the flute and the kids chorus, and the Kids' fun Kung Fu show, made the CSA performances so much fun to watch. Thank you!
Special thanks goes to Kasey Walko, our event Fundraising Director, and parents and school student volunteers, Heling Liu, Emily Wang, Hua Yu, Lake Yin, Vicky Ng, Gwen Ren, Floyd and Een T Greenwood family, Michale Ng, Li Li, Hua Yu, and the Andover High School students from Teacher Lin Wu's class, Bonnie Cheng, Andy Cheng, along with many others who helped fundraising, putting up the posts, and ticket distributions, etc. You are the power of the house that lights up the event.
We'd also like to thank CSA's old friends: 3-D Dental, ARBC Mortgage Financial Corp, China Buffet at Methuen, who haven been always with CSA community all the years, and Citizens Bank in Andover, Enterprise Bank in Tewksbury, Andover Montessori School, along with Sunday and CSA After-school hosting facilities from the Pike School and the Ballardvale United Church, your sponsorship and support to this event and to our community have made the wonderful night a reality.
Lets not to forget about our community's old friend, Andover Town Manager, Mr. Reginald "Buzz" Stapczynski, who not only gave the welcome keynote speech for the event, for those who are not aware of, has also been with CSA 11 years ago, from day one of CSA's inception. Again, thank you Buzz!
Last if not the least, we'd like to thank you, the audience, for attending the great event, and for sharing the joy and fun.
With all that said, we have created an album for the event on CSA Yahoo group at https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/CSA-Group/photos/albums/229200788 . We posted some phots we have collected so far. All CSA members with access the group can view and download photos. The members can also upload photos to share with the community. Enjoy!
Again, thank you,
CSA
